I was very happy with that. I contacted Walker Distributors and the gave me a refund in a matter of days. Everything was fine, but 5 mins into the game it froze, consistently. They took care of everything fast and with a smile. I bought this for my 6 year old at Christmas. I tested it out before hand to make sure there were no problems. They test all products before sending them out, but this problem wasn't detectable until extended play.
I was not pleased with this design, but I got over it quickly.Overall I love this product and would recommend it to anyone who is okay with wiping the console down after use.Have Fun. This product is durable and i liked that it always looks shiny. I was extremely pleased with this product since all of my systems are similar to the surface. I didn't mind that the surface gets fingerprints on it easily because I take good care of my products and am constantly cleaning it, but for others it might get slightly aggravating. Cons:-Surface gets dirty easily-Scratches relatively easily (there are tons of cases for it though)-Unlike the original Ds when a gameboyadvance game is inserted some of the cartridge sticks out.
Now you can plug it in to charge the internal battery.Also, the volume on it is pretty low, even when cranked all the way up, so it won't drive you crazy as a parent, and it won't hurt your kid's ears if he/she plays with headphones on. It is compact, light, and the two screens are pretty big.No more AA batteries. You can't go wrong with this game. My wife and I bought this for our two kids for Christmas.Needless to say they were beyond excited. For those of you who, like me, grew up with the Game Boy, DS Lite is a vast improvement over it.The touch screen and the microphone add to the playing experience. If I was nitpicking, I'd say that the swivels are a tad weak, and after a while they may get just a bit loose; but it's not a big deal.
The game itself being in a used condition showing scratch corners didn't matter, because the game worked perfectly. Being the first time I buy a used DS, I was very satisfied with the delivery time. I would definatly buy another DS like this one in the near future.
Scratches were minimal, like the description stated, so it was nice that it panned out just like I expected, in terms of condition and quality. Though a users Manual would've been nice to have as well. It was a killer deal compared to most used DS lites that I've seen, so I had to buy it. She was amazed that I got her one. I can't wait to buy one for myself and break in that wi-fi multiplayer feature with my best girl. The black looks awesome, but it does get easily smudged from handling, though a quick wipe fixes that up nicely.
I'm glad I did. I recently bought my girlfriend a DS lite (Onyx Black)for our four year anniversary/Christmas. It was nice to know that the DS was full charged upon arrival. The price made my jaw drop.
